Kaneka Medical America LLC (KMA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaneka Americas Holdings, Inc. Established in 1997, KMA, having head office in New York, N.Y., is the exclusive distributor in the U.S. and Canada for the extracorporeal LDL-apheresis system, Liposorber, manufactured by Kaneka Corporation. It also markets vascular interventional devices in North & South American countries. Ophthalmology product, Lacriflow, is marketed in US from 2014. In addition, emerging devices in the field of cardiology, neurology, nephrology, and regenerative medicine are under development with the aim of patients ' improved outcome.
